Is there any way to calculate WIP limit? i.e no of people/2 ...I mean any industry standards.

Finding a suitable WIP is an empirical process that requires a continuous inspection and adaptation. Start with a WIP based on team expert judgement ans see how it works for the team.

You can use a common rule -
If you see bottleneck often at a particular stage reduce WIP
If you see people often wait for work - increase WIP
