Difference between Daily Standups in scrum and kanban

Wed Sep 25, 2019 8:06 am

Any difference between Daily Standups in scrum and kanban?

Scrum:
What did I do yday, going to do, any impediment w.r.t sprint goals.

Kanban:
Focus on flow of work and no need to give above updates to team.

Traditional:
Probably status update meeting to provide a beautiful report to higher mgmt

Please add thoughts or correct the understanding .

Yes, just to add:

Daily Scrum normally happens in round robin format. Daily Kanban is conducted in 'walk the borad' format where lead walks through the board from right to left focusing items which needs team attention. Team members shares their concerns and challenges during that walk through.
