A project manager for a product development project was informed by a team member that a defect was found in a delivered to customer tomorrow according to the project schedule,the project manager knows that the customer does not have the technical understanding to notice the defect.the deliverable meets the contract requirement,but it does not meet the project manager's quality standard.what is the best course of action for the project manager?
1.Issue the deliverable,& get formal acceptance from the customer,as the deliverable meets his quality standard.
2.Informed the customer that the deliverable will be late & fix the fault.
3.Discuss the issue with the customer.
4.Note the problem in the lessons so future projects do not face the same problem.
