132 .You are currently finishing a project under contract to develop and build some machining equipment for a customer. Your organization took over the obligation to solve certain problems if they come up during a contractual warranty period of one year after start of production. What do you not have to consider during the warranty period?

A- Parts which were marked as-is must be held available for free replacement in case of failure.
B- Incoming problems reported to the team must be handled immediately and with high priority.
C- Some team members must be held available during the warranty period in case that they have to solve problems.
D- At the end of the warranty period, the responsibility for the equipment will be turned over to the customer.

Answer is A.

During warranty period parts replacement is free. Hence, PM needs to ensure that warranty is in place so that parts replacement is free.

AS IS is a legal term used in the contract between buyer and seller.
In general, the term "as is" means that parts are available in the condition as it is . This means that any defects or flaws with the parts will be buyers responsibility as the buyer and won't be covered by a warranty.
This is widely used term in used cars or used machinery buying, where the responsibility lies on the buyer to examine the product while buying and any unknown fault has to be fixed by buyer.

If I go with elimination method, option A is closest. as in warranty the parts can be replaced if they cannot be repaired
