Achieved PMP Credentials last week

Postby asadamaan83 Sat Mar 23, 2019 5:00 pm

Hello everyone!! It's a great moment to share that i passed my PMP exam on 18th March in a first attempt. I got 3AT, 1T and 1BT.

It took more than 4 months to prepare for the exam. Being a family man and a working guy, i had some ups and downs in this PMP journey. Eventually, i got rid of all the obstacles i faced and maintained my consistency.

I would like to summarize my lessons learned and share my PMP journey:

1. I didn't get any questions outside PMBOK. but, you need to read this book thoroughly and practice mocks and solve questions as much as possible.
2. If possible, prepare your notes especially for all project documents, subsidiary plans, tools & techniques and understand their functionalities very well.
3. 20-25% questions were very tricky. The answer choices will be very close to each other. very tricky to pick out the best one.
4. 25-30 questions will be direct questions.
5. My preparation took more than 4 months. Everyone has their own way of time management and lifestyle, but need to be consistent and dedicated.

Awesome, congratulations on your achievement. Finally hard work paid off!!

I have few questions:
a) How much time did you had for review?
b) After how many questions did you use to take break, if you did?

Can you share your contact no?
