PMP micro learning videos Series - PMP Free Question 14: Unsatisfied Stakeholders

Postby seema.sonkiya Fri Mar 01, 2019 7:00 am

The video starts with the question :

During Project closure you discover that majority of stakeholders are not happy with accepted deliverables, what do you do next?

A. Raise a Change Request to improve deliverables
B. Go ahead with project closure
C. Record the learning in a lesson learned documents
D. Delay the project closure until feedback improves

A. Raise a Change Request to improve deliverables
This may happen when the project manager realizes that project deliverable will not achieve success with the current satisfaction level. But the question does not indicate anything like this.

B. Go ahead with project closure
This may happen when you find the stakeholder satisfaction does not impact the project success; the question clearly says that deliverables were accepted. But if the project success is at stake, the project manager should do something about it.

C. Record the learning in a lesson learned documents
This action is almost certain to happen, this action does not solve the problem, but this is a sure thing in this case.

D. Delay the project closure until feedback improves
This may happen when the project manager decides to do something about the stakeholders' feedback.
Watch this video for the correct answer.
