Question 41

During project execution you found out that work is often not performed at the right time and in the right order. Deliverables are made by one team member that cannot be processed by another one. This already leads to timely rework and bad morale among team members.

Correct answer is D

Work Authorization System. A subsystem of the overall project management system. It is a collection of formal documented procedures that defines how project work will be authorized (committed) to ensure that the work is done by the identified organization, at the right time, and in the proper sequence. It includes the steps, documents,
tracking system, and defined approval levels needed to issue work authorizations.

Yes Housam the correct answer is option D.

Refer to page 567 of PMBOK® Guide 5th Edition
Work Authorization System is a collection of formal documented procedures that defines how project work will be authorized to ensure the work is done by right person, at right time, in proper sequence.

Systems which are defined at organization level falls under EEF (Enterprise Environmental Factors), because they are not project specific system, they limits your project execution, like if WAS requires some set of approvals, project team has to plan for them, you can not change Work Authorization System(WAS) for a given project. The work authorization system is a subsystem of the overall project management system, and project management system also falls under EEF.
