Question from Oliver Lehmann
Q. Start dates in the following network logic diagram are defined as early morning, finish dates are evening.
If tasks are scheduled to begin at early start date, what is true?
Activity B has a free float of 10 d.
Activity B has a total float of 10 d.
Activity A has a free float of 10 d.
Activity A has a total float of 10 d.
Answer to this is Activity B has a total float of 10 d.
IT also has Free float of 10 because if it delays by 10 days successor will not be delayed.
Am I correct.

Re: Time Management
Now your understanding looks correct but the network diagram given is looking partial part of full diagram. Assuming that this is a partial diagram, end is not correctly shown and we don't have full end to end visibility, what we can surely say is Total Float of B is definitely 10. Free float can be different if B has other successors or other constraints not shown in the diagram

Re: Time Management
So you mean to say it is correct that we have total float and free float of 10 in this case...
Re: Time Management
If this is the full network and B is NOT having any other successor or constraints
