Project Closure

Postby nazrulq Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:32 pm

Question :

The scope of the project is very well defined and Project Manager have completed all the work described in the contract to his satisfaction, but he thinks ,the buyer is not happy with the work. What should he do?

1 Go through arbitration proceedings to ensure that disputes are resolved
2 Talk with senior management about changing the scope of the project to accommodate requirements that would satisfy the customer
3 Ask the customer for input and get her advice on changes that need to be made
4 Move to contract close-out

Correct Answer: Option 4.

My justification all the work defined in the scope were performed as per PM satisfaction. He might inform the buyer while doing stage-gate review. At the end of the project buyer can not perform this kind of behavior.
Project Manager should follow the procedure closing out the project.

Others opinion would be highly appreciated.
