Requirement are captured in user story?

Postby ashish.jais Mon Mar 06, 2017 11:48 am

One of the question in Scrum quiz:
Which is not the characteristics of Scrum?
* Requirement must be captured in user stories

Why above answer is right? In what other forms requirements are captured. If it is Epics, Isn't Epics are also user stories but bigger in size?

Here are two Hindi videos you may like to refer to.

Most of teams practicing scrum use User Stories / Epics to capture requirement but it is not mandated by Scrum, you can use any way of talking about requirement, it should be good enough for you to facilitate incremental and iterative development.
