### Project Cost Management Mock Test

As per the project management plan of Joe’s project, \$200,000 has been assigned to it as project cost baseline. The project is planned to finish in one year. At the end of one year, on the planned date of completion, 90% of the work has been accomplished. Calculate schedule performance index for the project.

I think 200,000 is BAC as it is specified as project baseline. But in solution, 200,000 is mentioned as PV. Please explain how to find and justify this.

BAC is nothing but total budget that was planned for the project. So, here project is planned to finish in 1 year and hence it is the PV. We earned 90% of the work, i.e., EV =\$180,000. Then SPI should be 0.9.

**Manish please verify if this is correct.

yes thats correct
ev = 90% of 2000000
pv = 2000000
