Sandy is the project manager and managing procurement for vending machines for IZENBRIDGE office. Contract is signed and delivery is expected to come. When he checks he got confused he received fifteen machine on place of ten. He go back and check the contract which says “vendor to supply ten (15) machine”. In this situation what is the best thing sandy should do?

Keep all 15 machines and do nothing as delivery is as per contact

Return the extra five machines to vendor

Talk to vendor and pay for extra five machines

Issue a change order to vendor

Someone please explain.

The key for this question is

He go back and check the contract which says “vendor to supply ten (15) machine”. In this situation what is the best thing sandy should do?

A typo on the contract was identified much later , so as a PM what would you do .

A convincing Explanation for this is available on IZen exam answers itself
