assumptions VS define scope

Postby rahul.kanugo Sat Dec 09, 2017 7:05 am

I read some where that

1.Assumptions are identified during collect requirement.
2. As per page 123 PMbok It is an O/P of define scope under Project scope statement. Also it is generated after using tool alternate generation.

Please comment on Point 1......It is still valid?????

assumptions document is not a static is gets updated as you progress in the project.
Assumptions in scope statement are part of baseline whereas during collect requirements assumptions are also recoreded
