Facilitated groups is a T&T in collect requirements which focused on reconciling differences among cross functional stakeholders. it also aids in building mutual trust.QFD and QAD are examples.
Facilitation Techniques / Workshop: This is a workshop or focused session that brings cross functional stakeholders together to define their product requirement. Facilitation techniques are brainstorming, problem-solving etc. used as tools and technique of the process of Develop Project Charter and Develop project management plan .
Facilitation workshop is also called JAD or QFD. QFD starts by customer need also Called " Voice of the Customer."
so the difference is Expectation and Requirement. Expectation could be higher than the requirement!
