Postby M L Dahima Thu Mar 20, 2014 4:10 am

Please have a look on answer given in Andy Crowe. Are Cost Base line,Scope Base line and Schedule Base line created in Develop Project Management Plan process. As per Andy Crowe this is the only exception in this process.I could not find any reference in PMBOK.
Please clarify.

Difficult to agree with this since we have clear processes producing these baselines as an output. i suggest ignore this.

I second Saket.
Cost Baseline is an output from Determine Budget process and in the same way, we have different processes for two baselines (schedule and scope)

Project Management Plan is an umbrella management plan having all other subsidiary plans and all project baselines which are created in other processes (as planning part of the project).

This has been already deleted in the fifth edition of Andy Crowe's book titled "The PMP EXAM How to pass on your first try". Ref. page# 61.
