Mock test 1 question

Postby abhivyaghra Fri Jul 12, 2019 12:25 pm

The client on their end is running through some tough test cases to validate the delivery. Unfortunately, the clients have identified few showstopper issues that you will need to evaluate. While retrospective, you want to identify which cost brackets should you have invested more, from the following options to prevent these external defects from surfacing this late in the project?

You could have invested more in the cost of quality

You could have invested more in the preventive cost

You could have invested more in the appraisal cost

You could have invested more in the prevention/appraisal costs

Ans is D can anyone explain it why

Cost of Quality = Cost of conformance(Prevention + Appraisal costs) + Cost of non-conformance (Internal Failures + External Failures).

Cost of Conformance - to avoid issues occurring in first place.
Cost of non-Conformance - to handle issues once occurred
