Where dd you find the statement in PMBOK which states each process has a cadence
For example, Collect Requirements occurs once or at pre-defined points.
This is not true, every process in PMBOK is iterative in Nature, no process is guaranteed to happen only once,
However, Saket mentioned that the requirements can be progressively elaborated based on the project lifecycle. Is this just an exception or are there other processes that have different cadences based on other factors?
Cadence is a tailoring aspect and not a mandatory need in projects, Having a cadence sets a rhythm/flow in the team,
Lets say team has decided to go through all open risks (including any new risks) and evaluate their RF every second Monday and make adjustments to risk register if needed.
If there is a big risk identified the next day i.e. Tuesday, will the team wait for 14 more days to evaluate the risk?
