Passed the PMP in my 3rd try (15-08-2016)

Postby HAFOZ79 Wed Aug 17, 2016 6:59 am

Hi Friends ,

I have passed PMP exam in my third try

Thank you too much for your support

It gives me pleasure to share some notes about PMP exam with you :

-it is very important to read and understand (no need to memorize) PMBOK at least tow times.
-you can use another references (2 are enough) beside PMBOK I recommend :

Rita, Head first(Web site ,Book, exam) , Aileen Ellis, PMP, PgMP (Web site ,Videos ,Books, Exams ) , izenbridge (Web site ,Vedios, Courses), Sybex (Book), Oliver F. Lehmann, MSc., PMP (Book , Exams).

I was enrolled in izenbridge Course , it was very useful and helpful for me with a good price, I recommend it for you
thanks a lot to Mr.Saket (my teacher) , I appreciate your help and support
thanks to Mr. Manish Panchmatia for his help and support through "Exclusive PMP® Clarification Sessions"
thanks to customer service for their support and quick response

-it is not enough to study , the most important is sample test questions, do as much as you can to find out gaps in your knowledge

- before the real exam try full mock up test 200 Q (I recommend 4 at least).
- 80 % is good rate , this is the minimum, of-course higher is better.

*****the exam is concentrating mainly on :

-situational questions
-it is not examining your knowledge , but it is examining your ability to apply your knowledge.
- your integration skills between different knowledge areas.
- exam is covering all parts of PMBOK , but is concentrating on
Risk, Stakeholder, Procurement , Conflict management , Integration Management ,Kick off Meeting , Change Management ,Change Management ,Change Management (very important).
- as you know each questions have 4 choices , 2 of the are totally wrong , but the other 2 are both correct , but there is only one "BEST" answer , so be careful.
- the language aid "Arabic" is not good , and not accurate , it is like "google translate " , so it is not good Idea to rely on it in the exam
-around 20-25 questions about "Changes in PMP exam after 11th January 2016" are there in the exam.
-Exam is trying to evaluate if you can apply your knowledge in the real world or not.

this is my comment "of my point of view " I hope it will be usefull

thank you again for your help and support

Congrats!!

Request you to please elaborate more on the 7th point of your message.

"-around 20-25 questions about "Changes in PMP exam after 11th January 2016" are there in the exam.questions asked on topics"

20-25 seems to be quite a high number while i heard many saying that the changes are minor :o

Thanks in advance
