Yes Saket! I would have done this earlier but for one another reason it kept on postponing. Well I believe this is just starting as I have planned some more after PMP. I shall talk to you for suggestions soon.

Thanks for all your support.

Best,
Pankaj

Hi Pankaj - It's great to see that you have become PMP now, you have to follow a ritual which is sharing your LL, I plan to write the paper next month that is in March, would like to know what all should I focus on before I write the PMP and please share your overall experience in terms of ITTO's and numerical based questions etc.
You help / suggestions will help us.

Hi Sachin,

Apologies for not posting my LL on this forum but I have posted them in linkedin. Please check the below link.

Though, the lesson learn shared in this post are not complete since there is so much more to say about preparation. Having said that, apart from what was posted if you have any specific questions please do let me know. I will gladly reply to them.

If required, I shall share more details about my preparation and exam experience.

Thanks Pankaj for the prompt reply, were the numerical straight-forward, is it more than enough to just follow Rita, Quampus, Scordo and Kimheldman?, also how mush did you score in Process groups ?

I have got mixed type of numerical questions meaning direct and tricky with extraneous information.

I have not read Heldman but if you have good grip on Rita, Quampus, Scordo and have read PMBOK then that should suffice along with Heldman. Do practice Quampus questions especially 4 hour questions as much you can, I had difficulties in completing 4 hour test during practice and always completed them having few minutes left for review but I was able to complete actual exam in 3:40 hrs time and reviewed few questions before submitting.

One important thing I did during my practice test is that I was reviewing all my answers, whether correct or not to find out why I was correct and where I have gap in understanding. Another important thing do not over analyze questions since that creates too much of confusion. In last couple of days before exam I had that problem and even started thinking too much on simple and known answers :D :D :D, so I stopped my studies on last day before exam and kept it minimal. Just relax (I know it is easy said) but Keep it simple and think in PMI way. I also found webinars from Quampus and Saket's google hang outs very beneficial so do watch them couple of time.

Watch Namrata's and Saket Webinar on closing process to solidify your understanding on closing project/phase process. I got few question right from there. Initiating and closing PG are scoring areas so make sure you have good grip of them. Though these two are simple but you get tricky questions on them to check your understanding.

Best,
Pankaj
