Question 2 of 8: Webinar on Scrum : When Agile

Postby saket Wed Aug 30, 2017 2:32 am

1. Do we have any disadvantages of Agile? I believe... if the scope/requirement is fixed, there is no point using Agile, we can happily continue with our traditional waterfall model. Do we still have any hidden disadvantages of Agile ?
2. When requirements are not clearly defined --how do we estimate scope. is fixed bid project worth for scrum. In scrum, how should we manage the go live date to be commited as planned, as scrum allow the changes to be entertained during iteration.
3. But how can we introduce Agile process in a project which is already in the MAINTENANCE (or Support) mode where the Production Defects (or Tickets) are measured in terms of agreed SLA? How can we adopt Agile in this phase of the project/software? "How can we adopt Agile in the project which is already in the Maintenance/Support Mode where defects are tracked based on the defined SLA?
4. Difference between waterfall and agile

5. If we are from vendor environment, and would like to develop product/software for client (based on their requirement), is it suiltable to adopt scrum to develop this product?

6. Can we combine scrum with traditional approach? something like hybrid approach. Is such method exist?
