Agile Roles...

Postby Rajkumar Nair Fri Nov 30, 2018 10:09 am

1. IS THIS EQUATION CORRECT ?
AGILE LEADER - SCRUM MASTER - MANAGER = SERVANT LEADER
2. . In the "XP Roles Video" Saket mention About PROJECT MANAGER Role in XP....In this Scenario...How does PROJECT MANAGER Role in XP differ from AGILE MANAGER?

If i have both SURUM AND XP in my Agile Team , can i have both Manager role in the same project ? How to differentiate them ?

Can you explain this equation in words?

As per my view: It is important that Scrum Master live the behavior of servant leadership and instead of command and control, SM believes more on influencing. He works to inspire rather than direction based on position and power. He works to bring best from team members.

Manager more believes in command and control.

Project Manager roles comes in the umbrella of "Coach" role.

Agile Manager role is a generic term and does not belong to any specific framework.
