I'm happy to share with you all that I passed my PMI-ACP exam yesterday!
I'm sharing my study plan and exam experience so it might throw some light on your doubts

I took up this course in Nov-17. It took me like almost 3 months to prepare well for this exam. I put in 12-15 hours of study per week. I did 2 rounds of the PMI-ACP Online course lessons and videos. After that, I took up the practice assessments. I scored average on the practice tests. At this stage, I was able to analyze my strengths and weakness. I realized that I knew the concepts well but, lacked the practical knowledge of them. So, did a quick 3rd round on areas which I felt I had to improve.
The questions in the exam are scenario-based. The options in the answers given are really so close that it gets challenging to pick the best one !!
Some tips which I would like to share here:
Its important to know :
-The people who would be invovled at every stage of the project, the stakeholders in each meeting, their roles and responsibilities,
-What is the purpose and importance of the agile practices like code review, quality assurance, pair programming etc.
-Think about yourself in situations like 'what-if', this will give you better answers.
These points will help you think better during the exam.
Finally, think like an agile practitioner.
Good luck to all who are preparing for their exams !
