Gold plating

Postby ashwineec Sat Mar 04, 2017 2:10 pm

"Gold-plating" is
A. An "exciter"
B. A low-risk low-value requirement
C. Added customer value
D. A type of scope creep(Missed)

B or D.. It could be exciter.. but not necessary, it could be just no-worth developer's fancy idea..
D looks more relevant..

Suggestions?

Many perceive wrongly that in Agile Gold Platting is promoted , it is not the case, gold plating is something team does it without asking business assuming it will be good for business, in agile the business is involved and gold platting is definitely control by putting timeboxing and clear sprint goals.
