Lead time -> time from inception to delivery
cycle time -> from one process to another ( requirement to implemenation)
Is my understanding correct?
Cycle time sometimes referes to time from requirement to deployment then lead time and cycle time is same.
Can you please clarify ?
Lead time vs cycle time
Re: Lead time vs cycle time
Clear to good extent -
Lead time : Time between user story is on boarded in "Todo" to "Deployed" stage
Cycle time : Actual processing time - say "Analysis" to "Deploy"
So cycle time doesnt consider the waiting time in "Todo" thats the main difference?

Re: Lead time vs cycle time
Yes at top level you can say, for Cycle time you define the process start and end point and you capture time in between, whereas lead time start with customer and end at customer.
