Contract

Postby KaurP Tue Aug 28, 2018 8:10 pm

Since the buyer could not meet the requirements of the contract, you (the seller) want to terminate the contract early. This is done in the:

Choice 1. Plan Procurement Management process

Choice 2. Control Procurements process

Choice 3. Conduct Procurements process

Choice 4. Monitoring and Controlling

Correct Choice: 1

Justification
Plan Procurement Management is the process of documenting project procurement decisions, specifying the approach and identifying potential sellers. The key benefit of this process is that it determines whether to acquire goods and services from outside the project and, if so, what to acquire as well as how and when to acquire it.

This is what my understanding is-
A contact can be terminated by either party. Reasons can be- default of the buyer, default of the seller and mutual agreement of the parties. It is done as per the termination clause mentioned in the contact. Procurement documents are updated accordingly. This happens in 'Control procurement' process not in Plan Procurement Management process.

I agree with KaurP. It is as simple as sounds:
Choise 1. Here you plan strategy for all procurement processes
Choise 2. This is the process where you keep under control the work stated in agreement and any issue can be resolved in this process
Choise 3. You select seller and as an output ther is an Agreement
Choise 4. 'Monitoring and Controlling' - what? Process group? process? answer isautomatically wrong due to terminology

Only choise is 2 ... or the question is wrong

the question is not of good quality, a seller can terminate the contract anytime so can buyer, however the procurement processes are for BUYERs not for SELLERs,, seller perform work they dont do procurement control or plan procurement
