contract related

Postby KaurP Fri Aug 17, 2018 2:05 pm

Training to the customer was provided regarding the deliverable of the project. Project is almost finished and deliverable has been accepted. Customer wants the module or written training content, which was not included in the contract. What should you do?

A. Tell customer that as it will take time to prepare the training content, he will provide it after closing the contract.
B. Tell the customer as it was not included in the contract so you cannot provide that.
C. Ask the buyer to follow a change request to modify the contract first to get the training material.
D. Prepare the training content and provide it to the customer before closing a contract.

Please suggest which one should be picked in this case?

Thanks!

remember that whenever a contract is involved, that contract is a legal document and any change to it has to go through a formal change.
so if a change in contract scope is requested it has to go through formal process.
option C is the right choice
