Closing

Postby KaurP Wed Aug 15, 2018 7:45 pm

You were working on a project that consisted of five major phases: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. The testing phase failed to meet the project sponsor’s expectations. Because of that failure, the sponsor canceled the project and you were asked to perform a closing procedure. What should you do next?

A. Ask the sponsor to reconsider and try adjusting the project scope statement
B. Make alterations and retest in the hope of meeting the sponsor’s expectations
C. Settle and close any contractual claims associated with the project
D. Collect project files and documents and begin gathering Lessons Learned

If the project has been cancelled, we will move towards closing phase. If the question doesn't tell us whether procurement was a part of the project or not, shall we assume its not and select option D straight away?

in this case option D is the correct choice, if procurement is not mentioned u should not assume otherwise
