Your project, run for a customer, is coming to an end. The customer has been
contractually granted a three years warranty period for the product of the
project. What should you do first?

1. Hand all relevant documentation over to the organizational unit responsible for
handling the warranty.
2. There is no additional work to be done. The contract should describe all
processes in sufficient detail.
3. Changes on the product can affect warranty clauses. Ensure that these clauses
are aligned with the final specifications.
4. According to many legislations, you cannot formally close a project before the
end of the warranty period.

Manish sir,

Why is the answer not 1 ? Changes on product spec should be noted during verification( quality) and validation. I cannot understand why it is 3.

if the question is asking what you do first the options makes no sense to me. Not all options mentioned are not even actions to be taken by PM

I will give such questions a pass

1. Hand all relevant documentation over to the organizational unit responsible for
handling the warranty.
2. There is no additional work to be done. The contract should describe all
processes in sufficient detail.
3. Changes on the product can affect warranty clauses. Ensure that these clauses
are aligned with the final specifications.

end of the warranty period.
