Conflict

Postby suresi00 Fri Dec 08, 2017 12:29 pm

Manish sir,

I am not sure about the validity of the quetsion

The positive value of conflict is underestimated. Properly managed, conflict is a valuable tool,
particularly when
A. A diversion is needed
B. Conflict may cause a loss of status or position power
C. Conflictive situations are in their early stages and emotional involvement is low
D. Conflictive situations are in their late stages and emotional involvement is high

They haven't provided a reason for the answer , their answer is C.

Can you please explain why ?

the question is asking about the positive aspect of conflict.
option 1 and 2 are rules out.
now if you have a conflict when emotions are running high and specially when project is in later stages is not positive event, when you have team thinking emotionally then the rationale / logic takes backstage and resolve conflict is not easy
