There are 11 process in M and C process group.

Project integration management should be seen as an integrating/Binding layer for all the knowledge areas.

So when we talk about Monitoring and Control Process in Project Integration management we are referring to overall project performance monitoring,

Work performance information that is gathered from the individual M and C processes will be fed to this process so that project manager can holistically understand where the overall project is with respect to plan and what steps need to be taken (if any) to bring it on track, it also creates one of the critical output in terms of project performance report which is key document for stakeholders who need to understand the projects overall status.

can you relate it now to actual project management work?
