Postby rajatahaali Fri Apr 07, 2017 11:31 am

What is the difference between Performance reporting and Procurement performance review. Arent these two same . I mean the purpose of both of them are performance review . In one we are reporting so we will be making some reports and in the other we will again be reporting . Please clarify , Thanks a lot

This is for another blog.

Procurement performance reviews examine the seller’s performance on the contract to date. These reviews can be conducted at the end of the contract or at intervals during the contract period. Procurement Performance Review is your (PM's) evaluation of the Contrat. This is a communication between PM and Vendor.

Performance reporting is a large part of project management. This tool and technique entails providing your managers and stakeholders with information about the vendor’s progress in meeting the contract objectives. This is communication between PM and other stakeholders.

Is this correct ?

yes thats correct.

Procurement review is not performance review of the whole project but only focused on procurement related activities , if obligations by the seller and the buyer (project) as mentioned in contract are followed and respected or not
