Procurement Management

Postby umeshbww Wed Sep 17, 2014 6:33 pm

Vendor selection and management and documentation of lessons learned are tasks that fall under this process area:
A. Procurement management
B. Deliverable management
C. Conduct Procurements
D. Scope management

Explanation : C - The Conduct Procurements process involves collecting sellers responses, seller selection and the contract award. [PMBOK 5th edition, Page 371]
(Source : Scordo)

I selected option A. Procurement management because documenting lesson learned falls into Close Procurement. Is this right or wrong?

Conduct Procurements—The process of obtaining seller responses, selecting a seller, and awarding a contract.

Lesson Learned is more like bit odd, but rest make it clear case for conduct Procurement
