MANAGE STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT - (EXECUTING )

Postby krishnaiyer01 Sat Nov 17, 2018 4:10 am

Hi,

Change request is one of the outputs of Manage Stakeholder Engagement. A change request may be as a result of changes to Project/Product Scope (PG 528 - PMBOK6).
If at all a Scope undergoes change , RISK will emerge .

Question: Why is not Risk Register Updated in this Processes. OR In case a RISK is identified at this stage, how should we proceed ? What steps should be followed .

Thanks

Krishnan

Good point, while its not always necessary that a new risk will emerge eveytime we update scope, but in case it does it have to be analyzed like any other risks and update the risk register and other knowledge area as applicable.

Also remember PMBOK is not a rule book, so if one of the input or output is not mentioned in the book does not mean PM cannot have that.

Also at most (if you are unlucky) u will have 1-3 direct questions w.r.t IO or T and T in exam.

Thanks
