ROI should be in % . Is there any range while selecting project!

Calculation of Standard Deviation from various Data

Following data points are used 5, 6, 7,8,9, 10. from that point calculate STD ( Standard Deviation)

Mean = 5 + 6 + 7+8 +9 + 10 = 45/ 6 =7.5

Variance = (7.5-5) ² + ( 7.5-6)² +(7.5-7)²+ (7.5-8)²+ (7.5-9)²+(7.5-10)² = 17.5

Std = Sqrt (Var)= Sqrt (Variances) = 4.18

First it is to find when the time will be equal , Let the number of months are D.

Vendor A

20000 + 4000D

Vendor B

10000+ 5000D

20000 +4000D = 10000+5000D

1000D = 10000
D=10 Months

After 10 months using vendor, A will be profitable for maintenance!
