Re: Cost of change request implementation

Cost of quality is a tool and technique used in determining budget. COQ includes cost for non conformance (Defect repair/ rework etc) or conformance (preventive, corrective action), so In my opinion, it should be part of cost baseline. But if a change is implemented as part of risk response or worka...

Re: End of Phase - what would you do first

I agree with PMBalaji as well. For new phase to start, initiating process is followed again. So, I also marked Develop Project Charter because what if business need has now changed, hence there may be a change to the SOW etc. These factors need to be re-evaluated. But, per Scardo, the answer was Ide...

Re: Quality Control or Quality Assurance ?

In my opinion, This is Perform Control Quality as PM is part of project team and is doing an inspection. The auditors have not yet done the audit so it is not perform Quality Assurance.

Re: Tricky Question

Could you please clarify the source of the question. I dont think when the option to train and work overtime are both available, cut scope cant be the right choice. Scope, Time, Cost and Quality are all constraints. Without sufficient information, you cant choice which one to reduce. I would go with...

Re: Quality Management Plan

Hi,

The answer would be A - Reviewing the OPA because lessons learnt, archived checklists etc are stored in org process assets repository.

Benchmarking could be confusing, but it is not established in the question that previous project was a "standard" that needed to be followed.

Thanks.

Re: Whats the correct answer?

I would also go with Option 3 as best answer to this question. Develop project charter is not part of PMs role. PM can assist in developing it but its responsibility of sponsor/ PMO or entity authorizing the project. Since PM has been assigned, it is safe to assume, charter is already developed.

Re: Time managment

IMO would go with option 3. PM should first assess the impact of requested change and present options to management to show the affects removing the resources will have on the project - scope, time, budget. Then, proceed to issue a Change request with details of affect the removal of resource will h...
