Re: Initiation

How to answer scenario questions purely depends on the scenario. Basically you need to know the logic of process relationships (page 61) and at the beginning of every PMBOK chapter. Well I saw a lot of questions on what should a PM do next? What should a PM do to avoid? What would a PM have done ins...

Re: Project Staatus

My answer :: The project is not completed and on Budget and behind the schedule.

Because, we can firmly say project is completed only when SPI = 1. But here SPI is < 1. When it comes to CPI, the project is clearly ON budget.

Re: HR Management

Yes, even I think so, because HR Management Plan consists of staffing management plan, R&R, and Org Structure is used as a tool to derive the HR Management Plan.

The solution is similar to the one mentioned in PMBOK EMV example. You can check only BUILD scenario to calculate EMV.

Vinod. the Float on B is 2 days, but free float is 4 days. B: ES = 5. EF = 11, LF = 13, LS = 7. Therefore float is 2 days F: ES = 14, EF = 15. Free float definition "amount of time an activity can be delayed, without impacting the early start date of its successor" is related to successor ...

Re: Work Performance Data , Report and Information

DMPW generates WPD which is input to all M&C processes from Scope to Stakeholder.
WPI is not an input to PICC. WPIs from all control processes is input to MCPW. MCPW generates WPR which goes as an input to PICC.

First try to understand the process and what output it generates. The outputs are logically linked as inputs to other processes. Almost all processes have previous process outputs as inputs to them. A summary of my findings are attached as a map. Hope it will help.

Such rumors can demoralize the team bonding. Professionally it is advised not to assume any news unless it is officially announced by sponsor or customer about termination.

Re: Member less qualified

Depends on the situation, If the employee is already acquired, then Training is best option.
If the employee is not acquired, then "replacing" is out of question.
You can acquire new employees as part of "Acquisition" or "outsourcing" to a contractor/supplier.
