Re: XP is methodology or framework

It was more for understanding purpose. No specific questions I came across for this.
But I agree there could be multiple opinions about it.
Good to know that exam will not ask us to differentiate on them :)

Gold plating

"Gold-plating" is
A. An "exciter"
B. A low-risk low-value requirement
C. Added customer value
D. A type of scope creep(Missed)

B or D.. It could be exciter.. but not necessary, it could be just no-worth developer's fancy idea..
D looks more relevant..

Suggestions?

Project manage in Agile

In traditional world PM does performance analysis and monitoring and in Agile team is responsible for that ....

Scrum team size

In latest scrum guide team size is 3-9.
Is it talking about entire scrum team (PO,SM) or just development team.

Having team size of 3 inclusive of PO, SM doesnt look practical so team size of 7+/-2 (5 to 9) looks still relevant.
What does latest scrum guide actually say about team size.

Re: Lead time vs cycle time

Clear to good extent -
Lead time : Time between user story is on boarded in "Todo" to "Deployed" stage
Cycle time : Actual processing time - say "Analysis" to "Deploy"

So cycle time doesnt consider the waiting time in "Todo" thats the main difference?

Hello.
Why answer couldnot be 4 here?
As success in project KPIs doesnt mean that customer needs are satisfied completely. That looks me more closer as in option 2 we are at least adding some value (Not much value means some value added :) )

Re: Regarding timing of daily standup meeting

After reading this post I am still confused regarding daily sync up when scrum mandates it to 15-mins timeboxed meeting, can we break scrum rule?
Isn't coaching to team to finish in 15 mins is better option for this question.

Lead time vs cycle time

Lead time -> time from inception to delivery
cycle time -> from one process to another ( requirement to implemenation)
Is my understanding correct?
Cycle time sometimes referes to time from requirement to deployment then lead time and cycle time is same.
Can you please clarify ?
