Re: Change management question

Dear Manish, I see the point C) would have been right if instead of Approval, it is mentioned Analysis . c. You should send the request to Change Control Board for analysis. First of all the change is completely a new module (out of the scope), so it is not possible to send to CCB for approval(but f...

Change management question

Probably this was discussed already in this forum as I see this question receiving the most contradicting answers in the Linkedin group. You are the Project Manager for XYZ project. The scope of the project has been completed. You receive a request for a new module to be developed as part of this pr...

Re: Question on Cost

Actually when I re-read the question, I understand in a bit different way the SPI of a Project is above 1 & the CPI is below 1, --> Normally its is not possible to get more work done with less costs than planned ( if proper estimation is done) a.Project risk --> There is probably no risk just be...

Re: Change Management

Dear Saket, your explanation had helped me to think little bit more beyond. Thank you very much. But to conclude with my understanding ; --> 1) Even after qualifying a Risk with initial analysis, the PM should do a further quantification before submitting the change to CCB. --> 2) If 1, is true that...

Re: Change Management

Dear Manish, thanks for your Reply. Probably I did not put my question correctly. My main concern is, when we read the question its mentioned that there is chance of Risk increase because of some addition in scope . The question is can we assume the Impact analysis is done, as only after which we ca...
