Cleared my PMP exam

Hi All,

I cleared my PMP exam on 6th June.
I would like to thank Saket and his useful resources from bottom of my heart. This forum has been great as well, clarifying a lot of doubts and making us think in different ways/angles at the given problem.
Thanks again. :)

Re: Calculate Early Start date and End Date

EF for activity B should be 2nd July instead of 1st July as it has start to finish relationship with activity A and can only be completed 1day AFTER activity A starts.

Re: Project Planning question

The correct answer should be 'B'.
When the project is 80% completed, it reaches the expected completion date and that is when it crosses the project completion date.

Thanks for the clarification Indu. It surely helped. Can you also tell me which of these can be considered most accurate? Or would that be something depending on the given situation?
Also, can you explain mind mapping please?

Estimation techniques

Hi Saket,

Can you tell me differences between Analogous estimation, Parametric estimation and Heuristic estimation techniques. I thought I was clear on these but today after reading Rita and solving some of its questions I got all confused. Also, please explain mind mapping.

Thanks,
Anamica

Re: Risk Analysis Hangout (7 Feb) Agenda Building here

Please explain Monte carlo simulation and how it is helpful.
Does accepting a risk means agreeing that it will occur and do nothing about it?
How the risks can be controlled using contingency plans..is it just implementing the plan if there is one to manage a specific risk?
Please explain EMV.
