Re: Stackholder Management Questions

The stakeholder identification is throughout the project life cycle. During control stakeholder process, we identify the new stakeholder and their assessment and also look upon the level of engagement required for the existing stakeholders and update accordingly. Stakeholder analysis is the standard...

Re: EMV decision tree

Hello Saket Sir,

When I looked into the Rita, Page No. 425.
The EMV is calculated differently. The initial cost is not subtracted along the path. Now I am not sure which is the right one.
Whether to follow PMBOK method or Rita method.

Re: EMV decision tree

But in the PMBOK, it is not taken directly. The initial cost is subtracted with the strong and weak demand. After that it is multiplied with Probability.
Hence I am getting confused. Could you please clarify on this.

EMV decision tree

This is regarding the Fig 11.16 in PMBOK. I understood the way in which calculation has been done in PMBOK. They are considering the initial cost as part of probability. For building a new plant the initial cost is 120. And probability of high demand is 60% of 200 and weak demand is 40% of 90. Shoul...

Re: Opportunity Cost

It is just forgoing the benefits of selecting one project over the other. When we have 2 items say samsung grand mobile and Nokia Lumia in hand then if we select the Nokia Lumia mobile then we are forgoing the benefit of choosing Samsung Grand mobile. Samsung mobile is andriod based mobile and we ca...

Re: Hangout on 20th Dec , Friday

Hello Sir, I had some queries on EVM. 1. TCPI formula and EAC formula. - One variant on EAC is EAC = AC + [(BAC-EV)/(CPI*SPI)] - Both TCPI and EAC (formula above) are driven by remaining work. How to differentiate when to use which formula. 2. ETC has 3 variants. When to use which formula. - ETC = A...

Re: About Matrix orgnsiation

As per my view, we have to consider Strong Matrix as Project Manager role is stronger here. Also we are writing PMP exam, we have to feel that we are having enough space for taking up decisions.

Re: Regarding projectized orgnisation

In projectized org. the resources are dedicated to the project and is not shared across the project.
In Matrix org. the resources may be shared.
Hence the efficiency may be less in projectized org.
