Yes, Product Backlog refinement is a continuous process through the development process, but for an effective Sprint Planning meeting, it is recommended that user stories are refined before the sprint planning meeting.
It is good that Team has done Product Backlog refinement exercise before the Sprint Planning meeting, and the user stories meet the Definition of Ready criteria. For an effective meeting, we need to have a refined prioritized product backlog.

In the Product Backlog grooming sessions, team members familiarize themselves with user stories that are being considered for the next sprint.

Hello, I have a query. When do we give story points in product backlog items? In my company we do this exercise during sprint planning meeting. Should we actually estimate the stories in sprint planning or before it?
